With Hometronic from Sensible Heat, you can control virtually any heating (or cooling) system that you will find in a UK house. Generally, the heating system does not need to be designed around the control system (although we may have some suggestions for enhancements), we can usually work with the system you already have.

 

Most UK houses have “wet” heating systems using radiators or underfloor pipework, or a combination of both. We have Hometronic solutions for all of these systems. The unique wireless products, particularly the Radiator Controller, allow easy retrofit installation, and mean you can make every room in your house a separate zone – without alteration to the pipework.

 

Sensible Heat has developed a number of interfaces to allow 3rd part control systems to interact with Hometronic heating controls, Aircon systems, Energy monitoring systems and other devices. We work with the manufacturers of these systems to develop software "drivers" which allow the 3rd party system to access and adjust settings within our system.

 

Currently, "drivers" exist for AMX, Crestron, Netstreams DigiLinx and Philips Pronto, and new drivers are continually under development. Please contact us for further information. These interfaces also have the benefit of providing internet access for the end user, from a pc, or from an iPhone.
